Done for you, start to finish

How Cypress quotes work

No two Cypress homes are lit the same way, so we quote each one. The quote reflects the feet of roofline, the height of your peaks, and extras like wrapped oaks, wreaths and garland. HOA entrances and amenity centers are quoted per site.

To hold your install date, we take a 65% deposit.

Lighting Cypress master-planned homes

Most Cypress homes sit in master-planned communities, and many are newer two-story builds with tall front gables and second-story peaks. Those peaks are where a display gets its shape, so we light them carefully from a lift, clipping to the shingle edge and gutter without fastening through the roof.

Every community here has its own HOA and design guidelines. We follow your HOA’s guidelines when we plan the design, and we’re happy to send a simple layout if your board asks for one.

On Towne Lake, the back of the house often faces the water. If neighbors see your home from the lake, we can light the rear roofline and the dock line so it looks finished from both sides.

Younger live oaks in newer neighborhoods are a good fit for trunk and limb wraps. See how we light oaks year-round in our oak uplighting guide.

HOA entrances and commercial holiday lighting

Neighborhood entrances, monument signs and amenity centers set the tone for the whole community. We light entrance monuments, front landscaping and clubhouse rooflines for HOA boards and property managers. Boards planning ahead for next year can reserve 2027 entrance lighting by September. Warm white or multicolor?

Warm white suits the brick and stone fronts common on newer Cypress homes, and it pairs well with landscape lighting. Multicolor is more playful and kids tend to love it. Many families do warm white on the roofline with color on a front tree. Either way, we plan the look with you before anything goes up.

Buy once, then labor only

In your first season you purchase the lights and pay for installation. After that the lights belong to you, and each following year you pay only for the labor to hang and remove them. Our lifetime warranty covers the lighting products: whenever you sign up for that year’s install, we replace any parts that have failed.

How it works

  1. Send your address or call. We measure from satellite and street view and send a quote quickly.
  2. We confirm the design, colors and what gets lit.
  3. Our crew installs on your date and sets the timer.
  4. Next season, your own lights go back up for the cost of labor alone.

Book by November 15

The best install dates go first every season. Book by November 15 for lights before Thanksgiving (November 26). We install through December 12.

Beyond the holidays

Love how your home looks lit up? Ask about year-round landscape lighting and tree uplighting, or timers and lighting control that run both. Many Cypress clients start with the holidays and keep the glow all year.

Cypress holiday lighting questions

Will my HOA approve holiday lights?

Check your association’s guidelines; we design to them and can provide a layout if your board asks for one.

Do you light HOA entrances and amenity centers?

Yes. Entrance monuments, front landscaping and clubhouse rooflines are quoted per site.

How do you hang lights on a tall two-story peak without damaging shingles?

We work from a lift on tall peaks and use clips that grip the shingle edge or gutter. Nothing is nailed or screwed through the roof.

Can you light the back of a Towne Lake home?

Yes. We can add the rear roofline and dock line so the house looks finished from the water.

Warm white or multicolor on brick and stone?

Warm white usually looks best on newer brick and stone. Color works well on trees or as an accent.

Do I own the lights?

Yes. You purchase them in your first season, and they are yours to keep.

What do I pay in year two?

Labor only. You already own the lights, and any broken parts are replaced under the warranty when you book.

How fast can I get a quote?

Send your address and we measure remotely, so most quotes don’t need a visit.
